About Mia Hyman

Mia Hyman is a business infrastructure consultant, operations strategist, and the founder of Self Aklaimed — a consulting firm dedicated to helping small businesses get organized, structured, and positioned for confident growth.

With over six years of leadership experience in hospitality, operations, and business development, Mia brings a hands-on approach to consulting that blends strategy with execution. She partners directly with business owners to implement systems, write standard operating procedures, build internal documents and contracts, streamline workflows, and strengthen their digital and brand presence.

Mia most recently served as Executive Director of Zen Infusion and Zen Recovery Care, and played a central role in the creation and launch of Zen Regenerative Wellness — a boutique brick-and-mortar wellness clinic offering advanced aesthetic and regenerative services. Across these brands, she led infrastructure development, marketing strategy, team onboarding, service packaging, and operational systems to position the businesses for long-term success.

Before her transition into consulting, Mia held leadership roles at Hilton and Marriott properties, including General Manager, Revenue Manager, and Director of Marketing and Sales for The Burgundy Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, where she oversaw multi-department operations, sales strategy, and guest experience for boutique and luxury hotels.

Beyond her business ventures, Mia is passionate about giving back and staying actively involved in her community. She serves as Vice Chair of the Connects Board and is a member of the Vanguard Committee with the North Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, is Vice President of the 4300 Club — a young professionals group supporting Home for Healing, and currently serves as President of the Graduate Business Program Advisory Council for the Rankin College of Business at Southern Arkansas University.

Mia also explores her creative side as a voice actress in the fictional podcast "Tomorrow’s a New Day," where she brings stories to life with her distinctive tone and presence.

Mia holds an MBA and a BBA in Marketing from Southern Arkansas University and is a recipient of multiple leadership awards, including Dale Carnegie’s Highest Achievement Award. She is also a commissioned Notary Public and proud to serve clients across industries with both clarity and confidence.
